I’m very happy to announce that tickets for TetZooCon 2022 are now on sale…
The event will happen at Bush House, King's College, London, on Dec 3rd and 4th, the price being £60 for both days. Speakers include Jack Ashby on Australian Mammals (Jack will be selling and signing his book Platypus Matters), Jennifer Colbourne on 'Could Ancient Theropods Use Tools?' and Hana Ayoob on 'Audiences and Other Animals'.
We ALSO feature Dean Lomax on ‘Locked in Time: Unearthing the Behaviours of Prehistoric Animals’, and Dean will be selling and signing his book of the same name. Artist of the book Bob Nicholls will also be in attendance. Also at TetZooCon 2022, Cassius Morrison will be 'Using the brain anatomy of Spinosaurs and Abelisaurs to decolonise Palaeontology', and Natalia Jagielska will give 'From stone to bone. A step by step guide of describing your own pterosaur'. We also have a pterosaur biology roundtable discussion, AND another roundtable discussion on designing aliens, featuring Gert van Dijk (of Furaha), Joschua Knüppe, Jennifer Colbourne and Adrian Tchaikovsky.
TetZooCon has a separate palaeoart workshop led by John Conway (you need to buy separate tickets for it: places are limited!). We also have a talk on books and publishing by Steve White, followed by a signing event for the new Bloomsbury Books book Mesozoic Art (already available for purchase here).
And TetZooCon 2022 will also feature 'The Art and Science of the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs: changing the narrative' by Mark Witton and Ellinor Michel, followed by a signing of their new book The Art and Science of the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs. Monday Dec 5th will be fieldtrip day: a guided tour of the Crystal Palace models, led by Ellinor and myself. This requires a special ticket and places are, again, limited.
There is still more to announce, watch the # on Twitter and the facebook page for news. We look forward to seeing you at Bush House, London in December. Be sure to check out the site for the draft schedule and more info.
